Q & A

Q. I have never done rhythmic gymnastics before. Can I still join? Or, is it to late to start?

A. While many gymnastics begin training at a younger age, many have successfully joined the sport later and achieved their goals. A background in dance and the ability to do splits is advantageous, as these are important aspects of rhythmic gymnastics.

Q. What does my child need to bring to the trial lesson?

A. Gymnasts need to wear tight fitting clothes e.g fitted t-shirt or leotard with bike shorts or leggings. Socks can be worn and hair tied neatly. Please bring a water bottle. All Rhythmic gymnastics equipment will be provided.

Q. Do I need to purchase the Rhythmic apparatus?

A. All Rhythmic Gymnastics apparatus will be provided for recreation classes. For competitive gymnasts the coaching staff will advise of what equipment is required for their specific level.
